about American Indians Culture.

is the Parent Organization of
The Annual Austin Powwow and
American Indian Heritage Festival,

the primary event for our organization
to reach out to all our community.


Great Promise for American Indians, Inc.
is the sponsor of and funds
The Red Voices,
A series of Conferences and Lectures on
subjects of concerns to American Indians.

For a week, preceding our Powwow,
Nationally renowned American Indian Artists
come to our schools and teach students about
their American Indians Cultures,
Traditions, Talents and Crafts.

Also affiliated with Great Promise is the
Austin Independent School District
Native American Parents Committee,

a group of students, parents and educators
working to help American Indian
students in the Austin area.
The group is officially recognized by
the Austin Independent School District
and works closely with a support
group of community volunteers
to design programs that helps
young teens and adults.
